Rock am Ring is already an old stager amongst festival events and has a die-hard/committed fan community. Even after all these years the huge contingent in the Eifel hasn’t gathered any dust, as the ticket sales in 2007 prove: 98 bands played in front of a fully sold out festival! One of the characteristics of Rock am Ring is, amongst other things, the site/grounds. Mud fights can’t be expected, no matter what the weather is like. The optimally asphalted race track of the Nuremberg Ring takes care of that.
