The reason for the Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Baratís party mood isnít only because he was recently released from the hospital and escaped the scalpel. The singer who was admitted to the hospital on June 17th with acute pancreatitis has had such a speedy recovery, that theís eager to get back on stage as soon as possible: He will be playing a 40 minute solo gig at the Glastonbury Festival on June 29th and Billy Bragg will be accompanying him during some songs, as the NME reported today.
The festival organizers however arenít in such a good mood: For the first time in 15 years not all tickets have been sold in advance. As of now, there are still about 3000 tickets available.
