Reading & Leeds: Tickets for a mega line-up

Shortly before Easter, the makers and shakers of the Reading and the Leeds Festival are really hitting a homerun: Guns N' Roses will be performing as headliners at both festivals. Axl Rose is kind enough to finally present the songs of his in 2008 released album "Chinese Democracy" , as well as some of the early classics live in Europe again. The reunited Punk rockers Blink-182 are also main acts and one of the crowd pullers in Reading and Leeds 2010. And the renowned Indie experimentalists Arcade Fire will finally play their long overdue headliner gig at both festivals this year.

Moreover, the already nicely loaded line-up is complemented by bands such as Biffy Clyro, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Cypres Hill, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, NOFX, Gogol Bordello and Billy Talent. Also confirmed have LCD Soundsystem, Phoenix,The Libertines, Dizzee Rascal, The Cribs, Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, Weezer, Paramore and Klaxons.

In 2010, Reading and Leeds will take place from August 27th through the 29th. Tickets for both festivals are available starting immediately, online, as well as in selected shops. They cost 180 GBP for the weekend and 75 GBP for a daily ticket (each plus fees). The organizers are once more explicitly warning against unlicensed ticket vendors, who already did a lot of damage last year. (we reported). If you go through the original homepage of the Open Air, you should be on the safe side. If you want a ticket, you need to hurry though: Reading and Leeds are some of the most popular festivals in the UK and usually sold out way ahead of time.
