25 years of Rock am Ring - the clip
The glorious performance of U2 in '85, the naked breasts of Gianna Nannini, die Hosen live on the camping site and a soppy Ozzy Osbourne, who braved the (once again) awful weather together with the fans and "Singing in the Rain": in a quarter century, the Nürburgring has experienced quite a few historic Rock 'n' Roll moments during Rock am Ring. The recently posted documentary trailer of the German model-festival compiles some of the best moments from the Open Air's long history and really makes you look forward to another 25 years.

For the birthday party from June 4th through the 6th, the organizers of the festival, which has a superb reputation, even internationally, are once more splashing out, and presenting first class acts from the different Rock and Pop generations. The super rockers Rammstein, the Schock Rock heroes Kiss and the British New Prog stars Muse will also be joining the party. Tickets for the special price of 150 Euro, including the advance ticket sales fees, camping, parking and five Euro garbage deposit are still available until March 1st. You should step on it though because 70,000 tickets have already been sold. (we reported ).
