Coachella lets the cat out of the bag

With celebrities galore the organizers of the US Open Air Coachella are once more setting festival benchmarks. They announced the entire line-up of the three-day happening in Indio/California today and started the ticket sales simultaneously.  Some of the really big headliners this year are The Cure, Paul McCartney, Morrissey, Franz Ferdinand, Leonard Cohen, The Killers, Amy Winehouse and My Bloody Valentine. Most of the other names of the more than 100 bands and artists however would've also deserved headliner status and are by themselves worth the trip to the Coachella. Listed are, amongst others, Public Enemy, Paul Weller, Henry, Rollins, Turbonegro, Bob Mould, Billy Talent, Roni Size, Perry Farrell, Beirut,  Thievery Corporation, TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, James Morrison and die Fleet Foxes.

The Coachella will be celebrated on the Empire Polo Field in Indio/California from April 17th through the 19th. Tickets for three days are 269 US dollars. The DVD trailer of the "Best American Festival" (Rolling Stone) makes you wish for more.
