Glastonbury Festival
Glasto 2011 already sold out
For registered fans the official advance ticket sales for the next edition of the British Glastonbury Festival kicked off yesterday, October 3rd. The demand was as immense as never before: after only four hours all of the tickets for 195 GBP were completely sold out. The demand was so humongous, that the telephone and internet system broke down temporarily.
Fans who missed out still have a chance though to snag a ticket: in April 2011, tickets which weren't claimed, can be purchased through the official ticket partner. You can register for this on the Glasto homepage, starting today (October 4th).
The Glastonbury Festival 2011 will be celebrated from June 24th through the 26th and the campsite opens on June 22nd already. Official band confirmations haven't been made public yet, but you won't have to wait much longer on those: Glasto boss Michael Eavis has promised to announce the three headliners as soon as the festival is sold out.
