After their show in Montreal the tour bus of Iggy Pop and his Stooges was stolen brimful with high-class equipment, reports Laut.de. Strangers pilfered the approximately 13-foot rental truck from directly infront of the band’s hotel on Monday morning, between 6:30 and 7:30 am. In addition to the guitars and a drum kit, Mike Watt’s famous bass was also amongst the stolen items. Tour manager Eric Fischer spoke of a damage worth several ten thousands of Dollars. The band will be playing its gig on Wednesday in Toronto with rented equipment.
Iggy & The Stooges will also come to Europe at the end of August. After more than 30 years they celebrated their comeback with the album "The Weirdness" last year and are currently on World Tour.
