Rock am Ring is sold out - and is starting earlier
Rock am Ring 2010 is sold out! The 85,000 advance tickets are all gone. With that, there are almost no tickets whatsoever left for the jubilee festival at the Nürburgring five months before the kick-off. In order to give disappointed fans, who've gone empty handed up to now, the chance to visit the festival after all, the organizers have now dissolved the box-office reserve. For 250 Euro 1500 additional fans have a last chance for a ticket for the Open Air's 25th birthday. The box-office tickets are only available through Tickets per Post at www.tpp.de, or by calling 069 / 944366-0.
If you're not able to get hold of a ticket for the Ring, you can still go to Rock im Park. The sister festival will be celebrated in Nürnberg with the same billing and at the same time. There are still plenty of tickets for the price of 150 Euro available right now, but one is also expecting an early sellout.
25 years Rock am Ring and 15 years Rock im Park - such jubilees have to be duly celebrated. And since three days is simply to skimpily calculated for such a mega birthday bash with an already more than respectable line-up, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park will be kicking off on June 3rd already. 30 acts have been confirmed to-date. Amongst others, Kiss, Rammstein and Muse will be congratulating live onstage from June 3rd through the 6th. Them Crooked Vultures, Jay-Z, Tocotronic, Wolfmother, as well as 30 Seconds to Mars, Bad Religion, Slayer and The Hives have also been recently confirmed.
Additional acts and detailed information regarding the kick-off on June 3rd are supposed to be announced shortly. On the part of the organizers, surprises are to be reckoned with.
