Roskilde Festival
Roskilde: blogger wanted
Rumors are flying thick and fast regarding the performing acts, what will trendsetters wear at the festival this year, where will the hottest campground party go down, what's the newest insider gossip about the bands and what's happening on the Orange Stage during a concert? This year, these and many other questions will be answered by nine recently hired bloggers - and those will be recruited directly from amongst the fans. Because: Who's able to better form an opinion of the Danish Open Air than the fans?
Everyone, who thinks they have a calling as a blogger, has until February 20th to send in their application directly via the homepage. The candidates should be in the know about the Roskilde Festival and its music, as well as having their own plans and ideas, for example their own camp motto for the event. The objective is to present the Open Air and one's festival feeling, even in the run-up to it, from an individual perspective. The applicants should supply a work sample to prove that they can handle the (English) language, film, photo and the online medium. If you're selected by the organizers, you won't just be receiving exclusive insider information for your soon-to-start blogger job, as well as free admission to the festival, but you will also get access to the Orange Stage, in order to report straight from there. In addition, travel costs for bloggers from outside of Denmark will be paid.
This year, the Roskilde Festival will be celebrated from July 1st through the 4th and the warm-up will start on June 27th. Until now, Muse, Jack Johnson, NoFX, Nephew, Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar and Pavement have been confirmed.
