UK Festival Award: vote now
On November 18th, the UK Festival Awards will be taking place in London for the seventh time. In 15 categories the most popular events are recognized. Some of the rubrics are best large, best middle-sized and best small festival, best headliner, best festival restrooms and best international festival. In this last category, the German happenings Taubertal, Reeperbahn Festival and Haldern Pop are nominated. Do they stand a chance? This could be up to the German festival visitors, who are the one's asked in this case! Who better to judge the quality of Open Air festivals than the fans?
Chose your favorites in the 15 categories now on the official homepage uk.festivalawards.com.Your input will be rewarded: tickets to all of the winning festivals will be raffled off amongst the participants. The winners will be presented and rewarded in a public show at the O2-Arena in London on November 18th. Tickets for the event are available though the homepage. They start at 30 GBP.
If you like it even more international, you'll be looking forward to January:when the European Festival Award will be awarded for the first time on the opening night of the Eurosonic Festival in Groningen, Netherlands.
