Top-notch: at the festival the bovine scull, typical for W:O:A, is available as USB stick in gold or silver. @W:O:A

Wacken Open Air

Wacken to go

They were one of the bestsellers at the Wacken Open Air last year, and they'll be available once more on-site at this year's festival: USB sticks with download cards for one or two recordings from the current W:O:A. As can be expected from a festival of the calibre of Wacken, the USB sticks, which have a capacity of 1GB, have an exquisite design: the 2010 edition of the data carriers is a copy of the famous logo of the world's biggest Metal festival! The W:O:A-typical bovine scull is available in two top quality versions. The limited edition bovine scull in gold costs 50 Euro and includes download cards for two recordings of your choice taken from the recording repertoire of the Festival 2010. As a silver data carrier including a download card for one of your favorite songs he's going for 30 Euro.

This year again, co-operation partner simfylive is providing the flawless quality of the recordings. The performances of the best acts are recorded in top-notch audio live quality and made available as MP3s with a bit rate of 320 kBit/s after the festival. Which bands and songs will be recorded is announced on Wacken page of simfylive. To get you in the mood, you can also still get a lot of recordings from the 20th anniversary of the Wacken Open Air in 2009 there.

The 21st edition of the Wacken Open Air will be celebrated from August 5th through the 7th with stars like Iron Maiden,  Alice Cooper, Slayer and Mötley Crüe. The festival is already sold out.
